Four of the eighteen people who have written about us on Google and Yelp tell some version of the same story: another company quoted a large number, we put a camera down the line, and the line was fine.
Most of what we get called out for is already fine.
A sewer camera settles an argument in about twenty minutes. It goes down the line, it shows what is actually there, and most of the time what is actually there is a line that does not need replacing. We would rather tell you that and bill you for twenty minutes than agree with whoever quoted you five figures.
We are closed at weekends. We do not run an emergency truck. This is a scheduled trade shop, and the work is booked in.

We bill by the hour, not by the quote.
One of our own reviewers puts it plainly — “the work is billed by the hour.” That is the whole difference between the people who call us the best value in town and the people who don't. A twenty-minute answer costs twenty minutes. A hard afternoon costs a hard afternoon. Nobody pads a flat rate to cover the jobs that went long.
It also means we would rather you ask first than be surprised after. Ask for the current hourly rate and the call-out charge when you ring, and we will tell you before we come out.
